The 2011 Haybarn Rendezvous, lovingly referred to as “The Rondy,” will again be held at The Natural Gait in Allamakee County, Northeast Iowa, called “The perfect place for a nature getaway.” It is also the perfect place to hear some fantastic musicians. This year’s line-up will include The Yellowhammers, Jim McCandless, the Jim
Busta Band, Denny Garcia, and of course Switchback. Other activities will include kayaking, hiking, fishing, children’s activities, a craft vendor fair, fireworks, horse parade, and a Friday night Cave Concert featuring Switchback.
Cabins and camping will be available on site.

Switchback - For over two decades, the musical partnership of Brian FitzGerald and Martin McCormack, known as Switchback, has been entertaining audiences around the world with their unique American Roots music flavored with Celtic Soul.
The Yellowhammers - An American blend of rock that draws from blues, country, and folk, the band is loose not sloppy, tender not soft, forlorn not pitiful, but always hopeful. This is roots rock from Chicago’s West Side.
Denny Garcia and friends - Denny plays a mahogany Martin guitar and harmonicas and a 1936 wooden body National slide guitar, some fiddle and occasional banjo and mandolin while doing every song he can remember, either original or other…

James McCandless - McCandless’ work is haunting, whimsical, and pure. There’s a quality of stillness to his image-rich songs, a sense that this world reflects a greater one. His latest release, One, features eight new songs, with two tune medleys
from the Irish tradition played at a walking pace.
Jim Busta Band - The Jim Busta Band is a Czech-German, five-piece polka band that features many vocal arrangements. Their music library includes many old-time music selections: waltzes, polkas, schottisches, and foxtrots. In the 30-year
history of the band, they have performed for many dances and festivals with their unique style of music and fun.
Kosier Studio of Dance - The Kosier Studio’s newest performance group is The Switchback Dancers. They perform Irish, clogging, and jazz
routines to original music performed live by Switchback.
