Natural Gait Poem

The natural gait is calling our names

Tonight I will dream of the roaring flames,

I dream of bald eagles soaring above

Outside with my buddies, brotherly love

I dream of steaks and morels

And horses in their corrals

I dream of deer breaking the morning fog

And Josie jumping through dead leaves and logs

I dream of the yellow river we sail through

We paddle along in a yellow canoe

Here we come, to the gait

Wisconsin friends, do not be late.
